I can't believe I got an M-Audio Axiom for the same price I coulda gotten an EPS or something.

Can someone quickly run down differences, etc, between these different Ensoniq keyboards?

So like I said I have a Midi keyboard. Maybe I should just get an ASR10 rack mount?

^no doubt the used market is the way to go. Most of the hits are made on old school pieces like ASR-10s and Old school Roger Lynn MPCs anyways

I got an M-Audio Axiom 49 for $200 or $220, brand new at GC. Dude hooked it up. Definitely kind of expensive for a controller, but it's really good, has a bunch of assignable shit and pads. I mainly got it though because it's built sturdy & nice keys. I believe it goes for around $250.

EPS has heating problems, correct? It's best to buy a fan, etc. I know the heat often causes that great hardware sound, but I don't want it to get so hot it stops working. Does the ASR10 have a similar problem?

DAMN HOW MUCH YOUR AXIOM COST? I WOULDNT OF BOUGHT A MIDI BOARD FOR MORE THAN 200 TOPS ANYTHING ABOVE THAT MIGHT AS WELL LOOK INTO HARDWARE......
250 and tax and the power cable and shipping on the power cable. I didnt know much and got it at guitarcenter. I had to return it too and get a new one cuz the LCD got fucked up, but it's fine now.

Now I'm thinking. It's not that bad but for just a lil more I could have gotten something good used, AND I STILL could have used it as a MIDI keyboard like I have now. I do use FL Studio mostly so that's a problem, cuz you can't really record it into FL Studio, gotta record it into another program, which makes the FL Studio process take even longer.
