Got this from Faygoluvers.net. This was sent in to them:

From: Justin Miller
Subject: Entertainment Weekly

Hey Scottie D, what’s up homie… I know you already broke the news that Tech N9ne landed in the #19 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart this week. Well I wanted to let you know that came across some BULLSHIT when I was reading the most recent issue of Entertainment Weekly (the May 15th issue with the American Idol guy on the cover).

If you look on the "Top Albums" chart in the music section, they basically just took Tech N9ne off of the list and moved Beyonce and Jadakiss up one spot (I attached a scanned copy of this page). I can’t imagine that this was an honest mistake and I’m sure that some editor at the magazine purposely made a conscious decision to not include Tech on the list.

I just wrote a letter to them because this really pisses me off… It’s one thing to ignore the underground, but it’s another to flat-out lie about the facts and give the entire country inaccurate information. If you could post something about this, I’d really appreciate it… I’d encourage all of the juggalos, technicians, and supporters of the underground to write to EW as well to let them know that this is bullshit, even if it’s only a quick one-liner to tell them to fuck off (people can e-mail them directly at [email protected]). Of course we all know that this won’t change anything, but at least the underground can make their voices heard!!! Thanks and MCL!

maybe this had somethin to do with the Soundscan error... i highly doubt that they would just lie about some information cause they have so much hatred for Tech...

Cmon now, sending them hate mail isn't gonna better the situation. They'll probably just laugh at it if they "hate" Tech as much as they're making them out to be. Save this for the kids over at TRT9. There's enough people over there to generalize Tech's supporters as stupid, childish, and ignorant.

Like Entertainment Weekly gives a fuck if Beyonce and Jadakiss get moved up one spot. Dickrider.

Or you could jump to conclusions, not bother to check the facts, and then report to Faggotlovers.homo that Entertainment Weekly (the one with the American Idol guy on the cover) has a secret plot against Tech N9ne, as if anybody ever reads those fucking charts anyhow.

It's posted as "New" because it's a new entry to the chart, notice Mike Jones who also released last week is also marked "New." The theory about deadlines and such is a valid one, but unlikely since Strange was able to submit HipHopDX proof from Soundscan regarding the error on the same day the numbers were released.

Nah I'm just amazed that people really believe that Entertainment Weekly, who could give a shit about pretty much anything that's not on TV or radio, would form a secret society with the sole purpose of editing out indie artists from their charts.

The theory about deadlines and such is a valid one, but unlikely since Strange was able to submit HipHopDX proof from Soundscan regarding the error on the same day the numbers were released.
Yeah but do you really think Strange sent that info to Entertainment Weekly and every other publication that needs to meet deadlines to publish?

The proof came from Soundscan however, which is these publications' source, so you would think that Soundscan should draw attention to the correction themselves. However, like the HipHopDX article states, "In a rarely publicized turn of events, Nielsen, the people behind the weekly Soundscan chart reports, made a calculation error with this week's releases."

I personally think that Tech N9nes whole selling point a lot of times is nobody respects him as a rapper and all that garbage. Hes the number 1 independent, most rap fans have heard of tech n9ne, he has done records with some of the most famous rap artists' around. It's just that underdog persona hes working with thats part of his hook. Eventually after you make millions of dollars making music you have to drop the whole "nobody respects me in the industry thing". Still my favorite rapper besides

I think the exact opposite way. I would like to see the dude quit fuckin caring about what some fuckin queer industry fucks and the people who follow them think about him and fuckin go hard against them. I will never understand why he would want to be grouped in with fags like Jay-z or Kanye or any of them other commercial shit stabbers. He should be happy as fuck that he helped build an underground empire and has a fuckin legion of fans that actually give a fuck about him.
