This track is one of my favorite songs of this year, not just out the bay area, but anywhere. Not just rap music, but out of all the genres i really enjoy (jazz, rap, reggae and blues), this one of the best songs from this year in my opinion.

Great job by everyone who worked on this track, straight slapper! Had this bitch on repeat for a minute.

Anyone else really like this song?

Yes the whole album is nice and im glad i boguht it, but this So Sweet track is just one of those rare tracks that feel like its perfect and that i wouldnt change a thing bout it. Beat is slappin, the raps are great and the hook is very good to.

thanks for all the positive comments on this track and this album. Everyone involved really went to work to make a bangin track. This was one of those ones that somehow came out just right. I made the beat after hearing a similar track at a friend's studio. I actually recorded a song to it but scrapped it. The next week I was playing beats for Vic in his garage. He called me later and said they wanted this one for the album. As I recall, he had written the hook several years ago. I think he actually wrote it out for Shea at the studio and they worked it out in the booth. Reese was sitting in the booth coaching him as he recorded. At the same time, Tha Critic was outside in the parking lot in someone else's car writing his verse. When he laid it down everyone kept saying how raw it was. "I'm in a lo lo..." Steve Glaze was the engineer. The studio was called Final Mix at the time and was located in Campbell. Now it's called Tone Freq and located in downtown SJ. Steve worked some magic as well.

I video taped this session and will post some clips pretty soon. Reese's brother was their that day. I think he worked at a radio station in LA and got us some spins before the song was even mastered.

Anyway, it's good to know that folks are enjoying this track. Thanks for the love.
Thanks for the post Rich, if im correct you did most the beats on this? If not all of em? A very nice well rounded set of production for this in my opinion. And good look on the information about the recording,etc.. thats interesting stuff to hear.

Keep hustlin, all you San Jose dudes, the stuff ive heard from all of yall is very good.
