i'm sorry but theres very very very few rappers who can rap like this nowadays. i mean i been listening to nothing but this pretty much and i'm still catching shit that just amazes me.
My thoughts exactly.

I can see why people would hate on this because this is a new territory for Em. More of a Pop sounds on a handful of the tracks i guess. I mean ppl were used to him shitting on the latest pop stars and now hes rockin tracks w/ Rhianna and Wayne. I can see why ppl would shake their head at that.

But despite that, IMO he ripped this shit. IF someone would've played these beats for me and told me Eminem would be on em, I would've fuckin laughed. But surprisingly, he took them and was still able to destroy them. I think It's possible he was pressured a bit to make some more "poppy" style tracks by label execs, but i think it was needed cuz
Relapse was really hit and miss...he had sum crazy flows but it seemed like he was tryin 2 go back to his old style and he really didn't do that well of a job. The raps were there, but the emotion and energy was dull.

Rap has changed since SSLP and MMLP and I think he's done a great job of adapting to it, while still staying RAW with Recovery. If its not you're taste, I can understand that. But 4 me,this is the best shit hes put out since MMLP. I'm really rootin for him on this one.

and on a side note "Not Afraid" doesn't seem to fit the rest of the album. I'm really glad the whole ablum didn't sound like the single.

I listened to it once all the way through, and I kind of felt it. However, a week later when I put it back in the ride, I couldn't get into any of the songs. I actually regret buying it.

i was the oposite. I hated this album at first but had too listen to it for 5oo miles and fell in love with it. It grows on you the more you listen to it and uncover the meaning
