WARREN, Michigan (AP) --Eminem's former homes continue to draw fans — and bids of more than $11 million — to an Internet auction site.

A modest, 1,300-square-foot Warren home, listed on eBay since Nov. 14, was appraised at $91,000. The highest of the 289 bids as of this week was $11,000,600. Bidding opened at $120,000.

"It amazes me," co-owner Roland Fraschetti told The Detroit News. "We're trying to find out more about the bidder."

A fixer upper with a past
The Macomb County commissioner from St. Clair Shores bought the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home on Nov. 8 for $45,000 with partner Sebastian Lucido.

"We know there are sincere bids out there in the six figures and some sincere bids in the seven figures but I don't know about the eight-figure bids," Fraschetti said.

Todd Nelson, Eminem's uncle, recently sold the house to Fraschetti and Lucido for $45,000. Nelson said he sold the home, which had been in the family for 50 years, to pay some personal debts. He said Eminem and other family members weren't happy about the decision.

"He's mad, they're all mad at me, everyone in the whole family," said Nelson, whose sister, Debbie Nelson, is Eminem's mother. "But I had to do what I had to do."

Roots for sale
Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III in St. Joseph, Missouri, lived in the house "off and on" between the ages of 13 and 25, Nelson said told The Macomb Daily.

"This is where it all started for him," Nelson said. "Without this house, Marshall would be in jail or back in Missouri, where he was born."

Another former Eminem abode — a 5,000-square-foot colonial in Sterling Heights — went up on eBay on Wednesday and drew an initial bid of $600,000. The highest of 44 bids as of Monday was $800,400.

Eminem, 30, has won five Grammys and stars in "8 Mile," which opened at No. 1 at the box office this past weekend and drew strong reviews.
