Eli is good there's no question, but IMO to be elite you have to do more that just win 2 superbowls. it wasnt him that won it it's his team and yeah being part of a superwinning team more than once is a key to elite you also have to have the elite type stats to back it up. Eli's stats arent quite up there yet but with work and a couple more years i see him becoming one. but he isnt yet.
I agree, Rivers is no Marino. Hell...99% of the QBs who have ever played the game are no Marino imo. Dude was in a league of his own when it came to chuckin' the rock.
I also agree that Rivers is better then Cassel too. Who in their right mind would believe otherwise? lol

Dan Marino gets a pass because he revolutionized passing in the NFL. and did you see the teams marino had? i bet you throw him in with the cowboys teams or the 9ers team and swap out the qb's then marino would be GOAT without question. in this day and age of football where everything is catered to the QB i feel you need both to be considered elite. he got the rings, now he needs to get them stats and then there will be no question.

Yea, you are right. He only made the 2 Game winning drives 2 win both superbowls. And while it can be said that both catches were/are incredible, it can also be argued that Eli's throws were better than the catches.
Also, something you idiots seem to be dismissing is the FACT that Eli has won 7 playoff games IN A ROW.....AWAY.....to get to the SuperBowl. Something no other QB has EVER DONE!!!!!
