Your argument is too subjective. You gotta define elite before someone can really even argue for or against your statement.

IMO to be an "elite" QB you need to be in the top 10%. Since there are 32 teams, a QB would need to be in the top 3 to be considered elite. I don't think Eli is one of the top 3 QBs in the league.

In my opinion, when you have the caliber of QB's that are in the league right now, you can't just say they have to be in the top 3. Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Manning....all future HOF QB's. Then you have to throw Eli in there with the year he had.

He is elite. The man makes big time throws like I have been saying too. Five years ago there would be no discussion about who the best Manning is. Now, Eli holds that crown, imo. You play the game to win championships, period. Stats are good conversation piece but mean shit in the big skeem of things. Seize the moment and that is what Eli does. If you do not have a Superbowl title under yoyur belt, elite and your name do not belong in the same sentence. Phillip who?

Eli playing on the Chargers would not have made the difference. Rivers isn't the one who made all those bone-head plays in the playoffs, missed field goals, or played on special teams. I was always under the impression that football was a team game.

Does Peter King's opinion count? "What quarterback alive do you want with the ball in his hands in the last two minutes of a big game? Thought so. Eli Manning."

That's reporting at its finest folks.

Phillip Rivers = Dan Marino

I disagree. I think Marino was a better QB than Rivers. As much as you talk shit about Rivers, he's twice the QB anybody the Chiefs have had in recent memory. Troll some more though.

Rivers > Cassell
