This would require some help from the moderators of this form and it’s just an idea, so we’ll see what people think. It’s very geeky, but I’m bored right now.
Since the presidential election is months upon months away, yet the media has begun the hype furthest in advance yet this year why not apply it to the siccness. Let’s have siccness members run for president.
Some rules:
Any Siccness/GOM member can run.
They must declare themselves a candidate by crafting a thread in the GOM titled “[Siccness Member Name Here] declares their candidacy for president”
.
Within the thread they will lay out their platform for individual candidacy, address questions related to their policies, take suggestions, build a following, address the concerns of the siccness electorate etc.
If at some point two candidates wish to combine and run as a president/vice-president ticket they can combine their threads.
Prior to the real presidential election we create a poll and have people vote on who they think would best be suited to be president.
We could create a separate thread for people to submit ideas/policy issues that they would like to see the candidates address. The candidates could then incorporate them into their platform in their official thread.
