EDTV & the xbox 360

[Portuguese Godfather]

So i have EDTV(Enhanced Definition TV) instead of HDTV.... yeah i know its wierd... well anyways i hook it up and the sound doesn't work does anyone else know of this problem.

umm... weird. try fucking with the tv/hdtv switch on the cord maybe? You sure you have it hooked up correctly?

yeah it was hooked up right i even tried to fiddle with it a bit but it still didnt work

My homeboy had the same problem when he first tried to hook his up. I can't remember what he did to fix it though. All I know we was tryin to play for like 20 minutes before he had to switch up some wires and get it good.

wait u tryin to connect the component cables to an hdtv? i dont think itll work...only on an hdtv...

edtv!! you might as well have a regular definition tv. i heard edtv wasnt even good.

you can still use component cables on an edtv...thats weird. because the component doesnt even carry audio, just video.

theres a blue red and green cord and i plugged them all in to their color coordinated holes and it doesnt work

you do have the white and red audio cables hooked up right? The way you just said it, you make it sound like you only have the red, blue, and green video cables on.

oh shit lemon you just figured it out for me.... yes... i had the red white and yellow in the normal slots and not the slots for edtv... thanks man.... and next time u tryna play im down i was playin bejeweled with my lady last night lol
