ECW's Shocking RAW & SD! Draft Picks Revealed

On RAW this week it was revealed that Vince McMahon granted Paul Heyman two free draft picks from the WWE roster. One from RAW, one from SmackDown!

As predicted, Rob Van Dam will be leaving RAW for ECW which Heyman confirmed on TV would be returning full-time. The SmackDown! pick however, was unexpected.

Many assumed it would be Tazz jumping, especially with Jerry Lawler trashing him on RAW it was expected Tazz vs. Lawler at One Night Stand, which still could happen, but Heyman described the full-time returning ECW as being some of what it used to be, but also having a new vision.

Heyman revealed this new vision with his draft pick from SmackDown, who was introduced on RAW live and was none other than Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle. Angle came out and beat up Mick Foley, who was representing WWE in the "face-off" with Heyman.

Angle in ECW, holy shit, that's dope as fuck, I can't wait for ECW to kick off, but you know what would really be the damn shit, if they somehow got Samoa Joe out of TNA and brought him to the new ECW...

Crazy... Anybody record what happened involving ECW.. I know it's a long shot, but I was watching the Pistons suck.

thats tight, but smackdown's roster has been torn to pieces in recent months, weeks, etc. its hardly worth watching now... all i can guess and wish for is that perhaps the brand split might almost be coming to an end...

But, I can almost guarantee that Angle will screw RVD out of the title at the PPV.

With ECW coming back I think its about time they recombined Raw and Smackdown cuz smackdowns roster is looking really fucking hurt. Only real stars they have now are Randy Orton (If they let him come back) and Batista whos been out of action for like what 4 months? With JBL going to Raw soon the smackdown title situation will get boring really fast.There isn't alot of contender material on smackdown, plus alot of their good wrestlers like benoit will probably jump to ECW as well.

He's only going there because he'll barely have to wrestle anymore....

House shows will have a softer ring, if he even does them..

And I doubt he'll even wrestle a hardcore style.. Just because you're in ECW, doesn't mean you have to be hardcore to get over... Lance Storm is a pefect example.. That guy never really did anything hardcore, besides hit a few terrible chair shots.

I know Cena is scheduled to be World champ at SummerSlam against Umaga but I got a feeling that Somehow RVD is gonna get that belt and turn it into the ECW tittle somehow.

I like RVDs odds at one night stand since ECW needs a champ and putting RVD over Cena hella whoops up the new promotion and it will get wrestling fans who aren't into ECW style wrestling to tune in. Plus giving the belt to an ECW guy totally opens the door to recombine the shows, make smackdown more interesting and have the ECW show on the sci fi channel. Holy fuck i need to work for these guys!
