There are meetings between WWE and Sy-Fy to shut down ECW after this year is over. The existing TV deal expires in December. They're planning on moving some of the talents to Raw or Smackdown and dropping some, then starting fresh with a brand new show. Possibly making it a show for new break out stars...

They're already looking into a new title for the show.

It hasn't been reported in text yet but I will paste the article once it is...

shoulda let paul heyman run it instead of running him off .

lord knows ive tried with this show alot , and i still dont hate it , i think theyve done well as far as branding the people they use . so whats next for Christian if they just gonna drop the ECW brand , dude has worked hard to bring some credibility to that title .

shelton benjamin vs christian ladder match at TLC should be pretty sick .

good news..shit at least somewhat sounded like ecw when joey styles and taz was commentating but ever since then it wasn't shit...now iit might finnally be worth watching if it really is strictly for young new wrestlers

ECW was wack way before then cuz theres nothing extreme about the matches on the show which is what ECW is suppose to be. Im glad they made Christian champ on that show because he would never get that type of push on Raw or Smackdown and i rather see him champ on one of those shows then Cena thats for sure but i hope Edge and Christian becomes tag champs cuz that would be great

dont get me wrong I liked christian but imo they fucked him up by putting him on ecw and giving him that worthless belt. He would be perfect on smackdown in the world tittle or ic tittle pic. I just think wwe is giving him a hard time and punishing him to see if he hangs in there and want it bad enough since he quit them for tna before.


I think shelton is finally gonna get the ecw belt at tlc

Cena not going no where he there to stay so you gotta get used to it or just not pay him attention bc he the hogan, bret, austin, the rock of this time.

Yeah but who knows maybe they will get rid of the title and just make it a wrestling show like Superstars but with younger talent.... hell they dont include an ECW title match on a bunch of PPVs, what other way can they tell us a smaller 3rd brand doesnt matter.

Lol It's not like it makes a difference. I'm used to WWE droppin' the ball ever since 2004 when Benjamins push would have been huge. Oh well. Maybe they can put that segment in on their DVD "The Rise & Fall Of WWE". My favorite chapters being 12, 16, 21. (Not Pushing newer talent, Shoving Cena Down Our Throats, Rated "G" status)
