I have been playing with this idea for some time now. I even had spoken to Rusto about it like 6-Months Ago, but now I am really thinking about starting to put it into motion.

The Plan? L-Love presents "East County Gamers Volume 4 with Nothern Cut Throats". It would be the last of the series and I am hoping to be able to network with such artists as Shadow, Lou-E-Lou, B-Dawg and actually even try to see whats up with some new music from Pola Bear (we ain't been on good terms for some years now). That is if all of those artists would be willing to network and submit at least 1 song each.

Then outside of the area I would like to reach out to Crazy Times Records, the homie Trajik1 (even though he isn't affiliated) and a few folks out of Woodland and Sacramento.

Like I said I have no problem trying to get the project started. I just have to have the artists of which I would like to feature on the project to be open minded, open hearted and at least want to submit a track a piece. It would be a nice way to end the "East County Gamers" series for my area. Give something back to the music buyers of the area.

Oh yeah on another positive note, THANK YOU to everyone that has been going back and picking up the Original L-Love presents "East County Gamers" from Rock Bottom Records in Antioch (there is only 1 left), Street Light Records in San Jose (there is only 1 left) and also Rasputin Music in Concord (they had 20 and there is only I think 5 left).

I put that whole series out truly to try to shine the light on EAST CONTRA COSTA COUNTY and it is good to see that people supported the movement.

i think it depends on a lot of stuff that is unknown as of right now, such as:
who is on it, who did production, how it sounds, how the cover looks, etc.

haha aight, sounds good. Also, you should make a post in the art forum about the cover. Some of guys in there can handle business on photoshop

A lot of artists have contacted me and have been interested in getting down. I thank those that have contacted me. If you want to be "considered" for the project e-mail me and the track that you would like to submit to: [email protected]

I haven't heard anything from any of the East Co Co Records artists as of yet, but this upcoming week I am going to really be reaching out to them.

It is a long process putting this project together the correct way. I like how it is turning out so far. I got a basic album cover mock up (still waiting for the final track listing to finish up the artwork).

Just waiting on a very artists to finish their tracks. Then it is off to Mixing, Mastering and the Pressing Plant. I don't know how to load up music on here but a few weeks before the cd is about to be dropped I will have someone upload my "solo" song from the cd. I think you all will like it.

Yeah it is just basic for now. More things will be added later. I don't yet have the track list. I am waiting on Lil Dee's track a few other artists (maybe even Big Oso Loc) and then I will do a for sure Features List and Track Listing.

yea man, do some work on that.
Put "northern cut throats" on the bottom so all the text isnt in one spot, and then make the font bigger.
And i think the picture of the east bay rolling hills is kind of boring

Yeah this is just a "Mock Up". The features will be at the bottom. It will also have some signs and things added to it. I just posted this because people kept asking me on myspace to see the Cover.

And that is Mount Diablo in the background.
