Yo homie this is Bay Area Rap Talk, your looking for help in the wrong direction. Your trying to hook up with east coast rappers and looking for exposure, why don't you try to hook up with bay rappers and try to get exposure on a realistic level. If you believe your gonna get major exposure just because you do something with an east coast rapper then you are as ignorant as some of these cats that believe that A-WAX is the next to blow up.
yeah i know this is b.a.r.t., and i aint tryin to blow, and i'm only tryin to work wit east coast cats to get exposure with artists that are as local as B.A.R.T.'s artists , but on the other side. don't trip mayne i'm makin my moves in the bay too, but i'm not just tryin to work wit bay folks only. i'm tryin to connect. yeah i know most of y'all hate east coast shit, but i bet y'all will never succeed in music if you keep thinkin like that. i never even heard a-wax, just of him

To be honest with you, if I rapped, only about 5% of Bay Area rappers would cut it for me (this percentage could be higher 'cause I'm sure there's a lot of below underground rappers I haven't heard of.) Lyrically, the East coast has more underground talent. Plus, why limit yourself, the more people you can fuck with, the merrier.

I have folks supportin my shit to the fullest out in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida...If this cat stayed fuckin with Bay Cats, he would STAY BAY forever. That right there is a fact and that's why a lot of cats aren't blowin up, because they are staying in the bay. You can keep ya style bay, but if you restrict yourself and only work WITH THE BAY, you'll go nowhere. This cat here has his head on straight if he's looking to succeed.
