Easiest way to do logos etc?

what's up......I was wondering if anybody can point me to a basic tutorial on how to do logos etc, I have illustrator, is that cool? or what's the best program for that kind of shit? I always come on here & see all the work you guys put in with your sick designs I'm interested but damn, shit seems difficult like a mug....any help would be appreciated. Thanks

there are several different types of logos. you might want to start off by messing with photoshop and working on your skills with the pen tool in illustrator. "vector" is best for designing logos for big print : ie banners/murals... look up some "photoshop" and "illustrator" tutorials on youtube

Try recreating other logos and sooner or later you'll start understanding how a logo is made and the important parts of it.
