Earl Stevens Selections = GARBAGE

i drunk some earl stevens last night, not my first time. its a little strong on the taste buds, but its not the worst. ive had alot worse wine.
and when judging wine, or any other drink, i think you should judge based on the drunkeness of said drink. like how did it make you feel? did you get a bad hangover? was it a clean drunk or did it make you feel nauseous? did you wanna jump in bed or did you get social? like theres alot more to a drink than taste, were drinking to get drunk, or buzzed or to feel the alcohol.
taste is only like 1/6th of judging to me. might be one of the most important parts, but its not all said and done at that.

Don't like E-40s wine? When you put out your own wine to be sold in major retail outlets across the country then you can talk and compare it to your own. Chances are 90% of wines are not fitting to your particular tastes, so to just point out E-40s wine as being subpar seems like a hater move. Nothing is ever good enough for anybody. Bay area has so many haters and elitists no wonder nobody really eating off music, you rather down talk the next mans moves than make your own moves. Not only are we ALL PROFESSIONAL MUSIC CRITIQUES NOW WE ARE WINE CONSIERS TOO!
So earlier in this thread i threw my 2 cents about the mangoscato but after reading a review i decided to try the function red. After being disappointed with the mangoscato i didnt expect much but kept an open mind. I actually drank the whole bottle straight from the bottle and after a couple swiggs i thought it was pretty good. The one thing i really liked about it was that it didnt have any rancid flavor to it like some wines do and it didnt leave any bad aftertaste. My girl tried it and she immediately said "it tastes like some carlos rossi". Anyways the function red is good and the mangoscato is not. With that being said, i personally dont feel its worth what i paid for it because i can find better wine for a lower price.
Props to 40's marketability. Hood niggas, dumb niggas, and curious niggas are all buying the wine, so who care what it taste like. He got a product in stores. Thats more than anyone can say. I don't drink wine, so I think it all taste like shit. But I will be buying his bottles for the fact that they will be a good Bay Area collectors item one day.
