From what I heard, Mac Minister started making a scene in front of 40 about how he invented all of 40's slang and that 40 stole that shit from him. That's when 40 just stomped on his ass. 40 was with the Death Row crew because that was when Mac Shawn was on DR. 40 wrote a latter of apology to the Source soon after and they printed it.
Those DR fools like Tha Realest, Swoop G, Mac Shawn, and some other people rushed the stage during the DPG performance. I was told this by somebody who saw a home video from a person in the DR camp so it should be accurate. I guess Tha Realest ended up battling with Warren G's manager and they both got good licks in on each other. And then i think Swoop G ran up to Soopafly and straight knocked his ass down with one punch. Snoop ran away backstage before anybody could fuck him up, what a pussy.
I remember watching MTV and they were interviewing fans that saw it all, and then all of a sudden you see Swoop G in a Too Gangsta For Radio shirt being interviewed. He said some shit like, "some business had to be handled tonight and it was." I don't think MTV had any idea who he was when they interviewed him. I just tried to find the video clips from mtv news's website but they're changing shit and some old stuff isn't there anymore. They should have the source awards in the LA area more often lol.
