Never used it before but it's probably just fine. Go down to your local store and see if they have one you can demo. Also, I'd go with atleast a 61-key because I hate octave buttons but that's just preference.

most MIDI controllers in that price range are pretty much the same. I got one 3 or 4 years ago for 100 bucks and it still works without a hitch

for the price those CME ones look real clean. I was thinking about coppin one of those

Which one did you get?




Also for those of you that do have these kinds of midi controllers. Are you using them through the USB input? Just wondering because if I was to get a USB controller like the one I posted up, I'll be using it through USB 2.0. Just wondering if it works just as good as the midi input.
