i aint feelin this new shit a whole lot. i like 40 cause of how he spits. those unique slick talkin pimped out verses. when they were over them mob beats it was a deadly combo. i aint stuck in the 90's but i just aint feelin this new sound he got. i dunno if its rick rock or whatever, but they just dont make my head nod.

he's like the John Gotti of the bay...
Flamboyant, Talks Big Game, and can back it up!!!

i don't care if you put the tightest lyricist battle rapper in the world against 40, that battle rapper might have way better lyrics, but everyone's gonna be hootin and hollerin when 40's spittin...

his versatility.......he's just a true "artist" in my opinion..not just a rapper, lyricist, mc etc etc......he adapts to the beat...rather than coming the same everytime.......and if you listen closely, to what he says...you might just learn a thing or two.....he's always been on my top 3 fav artists out the bay....if not #1....

Stop acting like people can't tell the difference between not feeling a rapper's album or flow, and blatant pissy pants HATERISM. There is a difference, and cats can see it.

I dig damn near all of 40's shit, early on it was mostly them mobbish beats that I liked, but as time has gone on I appreciate 40's ability to say the exact same fuckin thing a million and one different ways. From his delivery, slang, flows, etc., the cat is just crushin 90% of rap niggas out there.

But if a cat next to me says he just can't get into 40 at all, there is no hate to be found in that honest opinion. I do not like the taste of spinach, but that doesn't mean I hate it. And if someone calls me a hater of spinach just because I don't like it, that is their error. There is a saying that there is no accounting for taste. So to enjoy a different flavor than 40 is perfectly cool.

But when these lil bitch ass teenage fruitcake kids get to yappin on the internet, all of the sudden their opinions take on more extreme tones, and instead of just not feeling 40 shit, now they go the extra mile of talking down on the man, talking shit about how wack Rick Rock shit is as if they know how to make a hot beat, and basically just hatering all over the place.

Folks on the board and elsewhere do not talk shit to those lil bucketheads just because someone isn't enjoying 40's music.

What they are tired of hearing is the whole attitude of condescension and sideways talk that just isn't necessary, and which actually DOES fall into the ever-expanding category of "hating". Some muthafuckas actually DO take their worthless opinions too far, and end up literally spewing haterish remarks at a muthafucka just because they aint feeling his album or his beats.

2.I grew up on The click "game related" EEverytime i listen to that cd i get memories.
3.The way he spits fast slow whatever.
4.He holds down the bay and the whole left coast
5.He has siccccccc beats

I like 40 cuz his different... i mean the way his spits the flow is different then any other arisit out in the bay and plus he puts out some clean tracks that you can gig too...making the party real hyphy and shit...

i grew up bumpin Mr Flamboyant, Let's Get Drunk, Carlos Rossi, Xtra Mannish, bring the yellow tape, hurricane...

I am speaking on the topic, and I agree with what you said about cats who are too quick to yell "hater!" where there is actually nothing more than a disagreement in taste. It's like football fanaticism, some dudes is just WAY too attached to a team or entertainer.

The other side of the coin is that there are cats who have popped so much nonsense and shit talking that they have polluted the air with negativity, and they exemplify the term "hater". Some of these same cats can be seen right here talkin shit on 40 like 40 had pissed in they Frosted Flakes and wiped his ass with they Daily News, just because they aint feeling his new shit?!
