Hi guys. I thought I'd post this here to let some of you know about it who may be interested....
Up for sale is some very rare and previously unleaked footage that we are offering on behalf of the seller. E-40 has always had a very big presence in the North Bay in California, and on September 19, 1993, for his video shoot for "Practice Lookin' Hard" (his second video as a solo artist) the Bay showed love right back. 2Pac, Boots, Lil Bruce, B-Legit, D-Shot, Suga-T and others showed up to support 40, and make cameos in the video. Shooting was an all day event in a local park, and this approximately 25 minute camcorder footage captures different moments throughout the day.
But I've seen it before, haven't I? Close, but not quite. People who have purchased the E-40 TKA Charlie Hu$tle: Blueprint of a Self-Made Millionaire have seen the segment with 2Pac on some bleachers at a baseball diamond showing the cameraman how to roll. This footage captures that same moment, but from the oncoming (opposite) side of the field. Likewise, the footage in the D-Shot: Money, Sex & Thugz (all 10 seconds of it) is not the same as this. It is truly a one of a kind item that the recorder had just recently rediscovered and decided to offer it to 2Pac and E-40 fans at our encouragement.
Where's the money going? All profits will be split with the individual who recorded this footage, with our share going toward a donor brick at the TASF in the name of 2pacshakur.net and streethop.com. When OGV5 hits all proceeds will go toward the brick(s) and so if we don't make our goal with this project, OGV5 should pick up the slack. We feel that purchasing bricks in the names of these two sites is an important way to show Amaru that the Internet isn't the enemy that a lot of music industry people demonize it to be. If we have our names on the wall at the TASF, that delivers the message that our online presence isn't an egoist, selfish endeavor that hurts the Shakur estate's efforts.
What's the catch? The only catch is that we are pre-ordering this item to prevent a buying team from purchasing it together and leaking it out instantly for a heartbeat of net fame. The person who shot this footage deserves to earn a few bucks from it, and he's only selling it through us like this because we explained to him that other 2Pac fans would probably like to see it. If you remember, when Big Butch offered footage of the Maryland concert he didn't preorder and within the week it was already being bootlegged around Europe. We've said it before and we'll say it again - if 2Pac fans want more footage like this to come out then we have to put up or shut up and demonstrate to people who hold such footage that we're willing to make it worth their time to give us our fix.
The details.

Just the start you say? You bet. We have several items we will be selling on behalf of the individuals who captured footage of 2Pac. We're trying to set the scene to be profitable for the persons who captured video of 2Pac to release it, and likewise donate our share to the TASF to support Ms. Shakur's endeavors while sending the message that 2Pac fans on the Internet aren't all life sucking leeches who won't make donations. Assuming this item sells a reasonable amount, we will be offering more diverse footage, including live shows, studio footage (showing the process of creating a beat, writing to it, recording it, and doing voice overlays), and much more. Help yourself, help the guy who gave you this opportunity, and help the TASF. Seems like a win-win-win to us.
