I was just at Best Buy and they had a shitload of DVD's to choose from, but I didn't know which ones to pick. Some movies I've seen, but are they worth paying for? Other movies, I've seen a long time ago, and liked them, but I had doubts of actually owning them because they might be one of those movies that can only be seen once because it gets boring the second time.
Can you guys reccomend movies (that are available on DVD)? I want shit that's interesting, mind-blowing, funny, scary, real good, and so on. All replies are welcome.

Here's movies I've seen (and I think are great), but are they good to own?:
The Matrix
The Fight Club
Gladiator

Also... I noticed that movies I am willing to get (and I assume they sell a lot) have higher prices. Is there a web site or place where DVD's are cheap? I know Costco and Wal-Mart have good prices, but not much of a selection.

Thanks for the responses... I really love you guys!! :(

Some I already had in mind, but had doubts of. I guess I'll pick 'em up one at a time. Others, I've only seen pieces of and they seemed interesting, I'll rent (or borrow) those to see if they're good enough to own.
Would you guys suggest buying Scary Movie (and the sequel) seperately? I was going to get them, but what if they come out on a 2-movie DVD (like American Pie") later on, at a greater value?

Also... I'm more into comedies where you don't expect certain things to happen like on Don't Be A Menace... (which I purchased last night and watched for the first time in its entirety.) Can you please suggest more of these?
