What's good ya'll? We're back! The Circuit is officially back in the building Friday, Sept. 1, 2006 at the Minna Gallery, 111 Minna St., San Francisco. Come party with us as we partake in a little early celebration of the October 17th Releases of Charizma's "King of the Jungle" and Choze's "The Epitome" with live performances by Charizma, Choze, Shauny-B & Cess, Indecent & Krypto, Dubb20, Arsenal, Drayno, Re, Meal Ticket, Kennedy, GoHard & More. We've got giveaways & drink specials all nite, plus special invited guests! 2 Dance Floors/2 DJs.

Ahh shit, here we go...The dude has had the name since he started in the game. So, he should change it cuz dude died? No disrespect to the dead, but this shit is ridiculous. For the record at Shea once again, in our thread about three weeks ago several cats made comments and they were all respectfully answered. I did respond to the little gay as cut and paste quote shit on the other thread for Krypto as well.

To say, without any real discussion that my boy is disrespectful for having the same name is crazy, man. You don't think there's another Seagram out there somewhere? Another Cougnut? I could see if he just took dudes name after he passed or even if he was saying "I'm the real Charizma," but he's not and he's not even being disrespectful about the whole thing. This is the name he choze when he started, the name he's known by (Ask J-Klyde, Johhny Cash, etc) if they know Chariz from the P and if he's got slaps. They'll let you know.

Damn, that's crazy, I can't believe, RIP, that dude was such a legend and I ain't never heard of 'em until now. I guess I ain't as much a Bay Rap dude as I thought. I mean I was a teen at that time so I guess I should have heard of him, I mean that's when 415, Richie Rich, Mc Ant, Short, Bigg Ocean Mobb, Cougnut & IMP, Souls of Mischief, etc were out, but I never, ever heard of Charizma, real talk.

Anyway, like I mentioned, no disrespect intended and if we have to deal with that issue, we will. I mean we've been marketing and the only time we've really heard about it or caught any flack for it was on siccness.

I'm definitely not gonna ask a dude who has gone by a certain name for 1/2 his natural life to change the shit now.

So, I guess its "weak sauce" on the menu, but real talk, I got money on my dude to "sauce" anybody who want it. The dude is nice and the talent will overcome any backlash, believe me.

I'ma say this, though, for all the heat I'm gettin on here, there better be some future Charizma threads about his legacy or posthumous releases like ya'll do for Pac, Mac Dre, Seag, Coug, etc. Don't let this just be a time to rip somebody. there's been SEVERAL Peanut Butter Wolf & Charizma threads, but this is a "GANGSTER RAP" message board, so unless the thread has THIZZ, HYPHY, GO DUMB, etc in the title, it gets swept under the rug.

Truth be told, Charizma was reppin' the Bay right along side the rest of the cats that you mentioned above, and helped put the Bay on in the early '90s.

Like Seagram, Rappin' Ron, Mac Dre, Hitman, Cougnut, etc....Charizma passed before the MASSES got to appreciate them, but the cats that supported these acts FROM DAY ONE will ALWAYS rep for the artist that's RIP.

For you to say just because YOU'VE never heard of him, it's cool to swagger jack is rediculous. TRUE, that there are probably other cats out there with the same name, but you're missin' the point. Those other cats arent from around here, but your dude is from the BAY. Are there 2 40's out there? 2 Mac Dres, Jackas, Blegits???? If you're gonna rep the Bay mane, know and respect the History, and it's archetecs(sp??).

It is what it is...No disrespect to the deceased. Either my dude is gonna change his name or he's not and if he's not, he'll deal with whatever goes along with that.
