DSi/Wii SD Card question

This is probably a stupid question but here goes. Is it possible to put some music on a SD card and have it play on the DSi or Wii? Can it be in mp3 format? I have the 2GB SanDisk not the one that has the Wii Logo on it, figure you are paying for the name. Any help is appreciated...
