Me and my cousin just bought a mpc-1000. I heard that most websites sell compact flash cards with different drumkits and samples loaded up to them according to genre. We got 1 turntable and a mixer so we are also sampling off that shit. We just looking for some good kicks, snares, hits, strings, synths etc...we have a computer with some programs like fruity loops, adobe audition and ableton live..how do we move them sounds to our pads? im retarded when it comes to this so bare with me.

the best drum sounds are ones you sample atleast imo...

You can also find drum kits all over the net, just do a search.

As far as synths etc, might as well just run VSTis thru FL since you're incorporating that into the mix

You can load your own sounds that you have downloaded or sample in the mpc and tweak them from there. I am a reason user but looking to pick up at least a MPC 2K or 25oo soon.

Bleek
He mentioned in his initial post that he is sampling his own stuff right now but was looking for pre-made drum kits.

They're ALL over the place, just google or look on torrent sites. And again, I'll say sampling yer own shit is a great thing to do
