Drum programing

anyone know a good VST or DX plugin thats really good for programming drums?? besides FL...I like to do it with FL...like i use hi res drum samples and dump em in FL...i just like the shuffle feature on it..but i was wondering if there was something a little better that is still software base...i dont plan on gettin a mpc or MV-8000 till later..so software for now...thanks everyone... :beard:
