I just got put on to this so I must spread the word to those who do not know like I once did.

Its an online hard drive and you get 2gb of space to do whatever with. You and your friends can link folders and share them online.

Gmail is working on an online storage solution i think its called G drive. I dont trust online storage though I would rather keep everything on hard storage. until broadband speeds catch up and fios is a standard it wont be convenient.

thanks for the link though i will use this to trade big files with people

I guess it's cool for backup. But what if your backing up shit like music, movies & software? All illegal shit. It would suck to get sued, but then again, you did it to yourself by uploading it on the internet. :ermm: If there's no way to search files publically from the website, then maybe it's safe.

I bet software companies, movie/music companies absolutely HATE these online storage things. P2P $hit like Limewire, Soulseek is pretty much dead or not as valuable when you think about it. Rapidshare, megaupload, zshare all taking over now when it comes to sharing files.

True, but space is space so whatever one choose to do with it is on them...its there for the taking.

Regardless of any legal matters, this shit sounds cool. I have a external HD though for backup. I trust that one a bit more cuz it's in my physical possession.

Thanks for the heads up.

Your welcome,

I feel you on that trust issue.

You can only be sure of what you can see and sometimes not even that.
