Im tryna play some system songs, but i need to tune em to drop D? I checked online for directions, but i didn't understand what they were trying to get across to me.

The strings need to be, from low to high, C G C F A D.

Anybody have any ideas?

I have a korg GA 30 tuner, is there a way i can use it to tune the guitar to drop D....

D tuning in guitars refers to tuning the lowest string to D instead of E. This gives an extra resonant sound for playing in the key of D. Tune the guitar as usual, then retune the lowest string using the open 4th string D. (Tune the 6th string to an octave below the 4th string.) Check your tuning using a chord of D's and A's. http://cnx.org/content/m11949/latest/

Actually, i just figured out from a link within the links you gave me that, i wasn't trying to tune to drop d, i was trying to tune to drop c. My bad.

I just started playing this last summer, not a virtuoso yet. Thanks for the links and tips.

Oh, and filthy_rich, my tuner doesn't show me that my strings a C, I figured if its between b and d, then it must be a c, so i just kept in between those two, if that made any sense.
