The short answer is, no!
My mother was born in a German colony in Russia and spent most of her childhood in Almaty, capital of Kazakhstan, before moving to Germany in the late 70s. Her biological father was Russian, her mother's family was originally from Raststatt, Germany, but they moved to Russia long before WWII started. My biological grandfather (the Russian guy) died early and my grandmother remarried a man of German heritage, born in a German colony in Odessa (Ukraine). This man was only 15 when WWII ended. For propagating freedom and peace in Germany at the end of the war, he was thrown in jail in Berlin by the Nazis and was deported to a prisoner of war camp in Siberia after 1945 (where he was imprisoned for more than 15 years), because the Soviets at the time didn't take it lightly that someone who was born in the UDSSR (Odessa), had spent time in Germany spouting off pacifist, anti-stalinist propaganda.
My father was born in Steyr, Austria and none of his relatives have any background being a member of the Nazi party, SS, SA or any other of those organizations. Even though the oldest part of my family (mother's side) is originally from Germany, none of my relatives (including grandparents) who are still alive, were born in Germany (except for my sister).
This may sound made up to you, but it's all true.
