and The Firm's "Phone Tap".
Dre executive produced the entire Firm album, he should have more songs under his production credits on there.

I used to own the album by the way. And with the exception of some cuts, the entire album was WHACK AS FUCK!

I have quite a lot to say about that acutally!

In a way you're right. I think the album wasn't promoted right in the first place. The hype all around it was that Dre had involvement in it. At that time Dre hadn't been seen for a while and his re-appearance in the game kept people on their toes.

Plus a lot of things just did not fit in. If it's supposed to be an album about Nas, Foxy, and AZ, (and Nature too I guess), then howcome we barely hear them as a group, and we get all these bullshit skits that just fill space and take time? Plus half the album had different artists on there with solo cuts, it was like a compilation rather than a group album. Plus the album started weak and ended weak, of course people gonna sleep.

I think they were trying to push some sort of a mafia mob movie with this album since it made it appear that it was some sort of a movie on wax. An unclear story was dictated in the album. If they came out with the movie first then this album as a soundtrack, then that would make much more sense than just releasing the album as it is!

I doubt there is ever going to be a Firm re-union. Foxy is under a fucked up deal with Diddy, Nas changed, and AZ is the only one who hasn't changed or doesn't have bullshit!

The album may have some tight songs, but if you keep leading off the customer in a wild goose chase like what the Firm does, then you got yourself a whackly layed out album.

Your right, In A Way. I Think If The Album Was Promoted Better It Would Of Blew Up. There Was Some Bullshit On The Album But The Reason It Was So Good To Me Cause It Had Some Tracks That Were Unforgetable. "Phone Tap", "Firm Family", "Firm Fiasco", "Five Minutes To Flush", "Desparados", "Throw Your Gunz". Unforgetable Tracks. And That Was The Second Relase Of Of Aftermath.

You forgetting "Firm Biz" and "I'm Leaving". The chorus off "I'm Leaving" has been used other times in other songs!

Not only was it the 2nd release on Aftermath, did you see the back of the album? A lot of labels were involved in that album. You got Def Jam, TrackMasters, Interscope, and a gang of other labels up on that!

When are they gon make a "Firm" movie? That would be dope and people would go to that shit since the album would then make sense (if skits from the album were used as scenes on the movie).

I bought that album the day it came out too! I was like "yay dre is back up in this bitch"!

At That Time Was Trackmasters Working With 50 Cent On "Power Of A Dollar". Of Chous All Those Lables Back That Album Because Foxy Was On Def Jam, And I Think Nature Was too at the time. I Hope Dre Hooks Up With NAs Again. I Don't Care What People Say Dre Is Like A Top 5 Producer (1.Dr.Dre 2.DJ Premo 3.Alchemist 4.DJ Quik 5.Ant Banks).

^^^ LOL Power of a Dollar my ass! 50 should learn not to bite the hand that held him up in the first place!

Ironic how things turn out after a while. The reason people even heard of 50 in the first place is cause the Source promoted him like a mutha! Articles, columns, questionaires they were all on 50 in those days.

And he had the nerve to turn on Benzino and battle his ass at a nightclub!
