Aye 50 Cal. I know you remember this shit. Man, I have never in my life felt nostalgia like this when I came across this. This is the era of the real mixtape...when you really looked forward to the next one. I had this tape and a couple of others. I also had...keyword had...the 5 oclock traffic jam mixes Dre did on 1580 KDAY.Took em to Fort Worth and they came up missin...so 50 Cal or anybody else... if you got these...hook a nigga up. I'll owe you one...for real. Anyhow, enjoy. I hope yall like it as much as I do. In the meantime...I'll keep looking and I'll extract the audio from this file...it's better than nothing.

I'm in the process of getting all those old Rodium swapmeet mixes.

It's simply a matter of me going to the homies pad and dropping them in my hard drive.

Anyone interested?

ahhhhhh I remember those too. Should really peep that site out. Because I just hit the Jackpot over there.

This is from the site. Stop by and check em out.
Ok so, Trav asked me for the Dre Roadium Tapes again. For those of you that have never heard of these or are totally new to Travis' site, here's the story. Supposedly these are rips from cassette mix tapes that Dre put out in t he late 80's early 90's while he was at Ruthless Records.

These tapes were sold at the Roadium Swap Meet, hence the name. A mix of the hottest rap tracks out-just like any other dj, but sometimes with a few guest appearances, i.e. Eazy -E etc. I guess there are 5 of them? At least thats the rumor that we all know. These were quite rare when they were unearthed, but have since been spread all over the bolg-i-sphere. Here is an article on their origin: Roadium Tapes

Since I am on a Dre kick. I am gonna drop this little gem that I found about 2 or 3 years ago. I don't know much about it except it is ultra rare. It's Called "Dr. Dre Exclusive". By now, most of this stuff has been floated all over the internet. But I really like this compilation of rare Dre tracks. Grab it if you don't have it already. It just may hold you over until Detox drops this fall (Yeah right)

Yup...I got like three of the Rodium mixtapes so far. Not to mention there's like mixes there from other people from back in the day. Feels like a time warp when you hit that site.

cool link to that blog, i got around 10 rodium mixtapes on cd's, i remember goin there to buy them! just sucks that i lost all the og tapes. the dude that ran that spot at the rodium went on to produce those Street Jams compilations
, in the begining of those cd's they got a lil megamix that resembles the intro's of the rodium tapes, minus the freestyles from nwa.
