Its real tight....It suprised me alot....Im at work so I cant do a track by track but I'll review a few of my favs....
To me this is better than all the S.L.A.B. releases and the new TRAE.....Dougie doesnt dissapoint at all lyrically on this junt....And another thing I liked about this lil mixtape is that he dont use all the same beats that everybody be always usin on these mixtapes like "in da club" and them lil jon and bone crusher beats.....a lot of them i aint even heard...but they jam....
1. go hard or go home - Excellent way to start off this shit...uptempo beat, Dougie flows his ass off on all 3 verses....the hook is jammin too....Go hard or ya go home//you cant handle it, dont touch it leave it alone//this is grown folks shit, no reason why you involved//neva send a lil kid to do a grown mans job//....4.5/5
2. ghetto life- feat trae - Dougie slows it down a bit with this junt....a "struggle/pain" track right here....still a jammin ass track tho...dougie and Trae are on some deep shit on this one....another tight beat i dont recognize....trae comes in and drops a nice verse towards the end....4/5
3. u can say feat shano - Another jive slow type track, but its pretty tight....its on some deep shit again right here....got this chick on the hook along with dougie and they sound tight together...another beat im not recognizin for some reason, but its on point.....4/5
12. texas boy - Probly the best track on the album....Its on some gangsta shit right here.....Beat is tight as shit, chorus is off the hook and dougie like he did the whole album comes hard on the mic.....
Overall = 4/5.....Nice choice of beats, not the same old mixtape beats.....good feats....Dougie shows he can hold his own w/o the Maab....only beef wit this junt was there wasnt any Ro on this bitch....
