DOOM 3 vs QUAKE 4

Ok so I know these are two pretty not new games.... But i just went and decided to get doom 3 because it was 20bucks anyways which do you think is better because ive always liked quake 3 over doom 2 but i still havent played quake 4? is it worth the buy

after playing doom u aint gona like quake trust me. it don't look as good, and it gets a bit repetitive after a while since the atmosphere aint as tense or gripping.

yea doom has its tense moments so far... its so fucking hard tho.... im on the easiest level and im struggling with the first mission

ive played quake4 for 2 days and its not an good shooter trust me... doom is 100% better than quake...

quake 4 ONLINE probably owns doom 3, but the doom 3 story line owns quake 4 hands down. doom 3 is a creepy ass game.

u should check out prey. a lot of peeps compared it to doom3 but its nothing like it. it really makes u feel your in alien envirmonts with weopens and trippy envirmonts. plus multi player is dope.

if you really wana have a head fuck play it when ur high off your drug of preference, then tell me about it I could use a few laughs. lol

you guys talkin bout 360 or pc.. i got doom on pc. the only thing i didn't like was all the pda bullshit.. never played quake4.. but i'ma go with you and get prey.. it looks dope.

yes prey is realy good but its too short (7 hours) but i like it anyway

I was talkin bout 360. but on pc doom 3 still owns quake 4 hands down. didn't really get in 2 f.e.a.r when I rented it, maybe ill try it again. but prey is a short but very sweet experience you should check out, u can get it very cheap for xbox & pc at amazon or ebay etc.

i have doom 3 on x-box that shit is pretty coo, i havent played quake 4 but doom has always been better anyways...

i always thought the old quakes were better then doom but this doom is about 20 million times better then the old ones... i was kinda thinkin along the lines of WT SAVAGE even though i havent played quake 4 yet i remember how crazy quake 3 was online i loved that game

Quake 4 is WAY fucking better than Doom and if someone doesnt think so then they must play too much single player.

Quake 4 is underrated as fuck. Nothing as good as Quake 1 or 2.. but better than Q3.

any PC game owns a concel game hands down no question (if u dont think so ur computer must not be up to par). i didnt know people were playin these games on x box and shit lol

Both of them can get repetitive after playing thru a few missions, but that pretty much goes for any FPS out there. DOOM 3 has a special characteristic though; it will scare the shit out of you. Trust me. I beat the game twice, and jumped at certain parts during both times.

Quake 4 is tight too. Graphics are pretty equal, or better depending on how powerful your computer is, to DOOM 3. If played on the XBox 360, both pretty much look the same.
