how many of yall seen Dontrelle Willis play...i'm tellin yall this cat is f'real...he a starting pitcher for the florida marlins, originally drafted by chicago cubs in the 6th round last year, he got called up this year bout 2 months ago...i used to ball wit that foo back in the day when we was youngsters, he went to high school in alameda @ encinal high...but this foo is avg bout 7 k's a game, his era is a little high at 3.72 but it's goin down quick...he pitched a shut out against the A's today for the W...cy young award in 3 years watch!

Obviously Johnson or Schilling wouldwin the award, but because of injuries that probably wont happen, and the same has went for Brown over the years because of injuries!! Your definition of the word biased seems to be a bit warped. Every time I have talked about a player on my team being that good I have had substantial proof for my reasoning. Schmidt is 4th in the NL in strikeouts, 3rd in ERA (2.44), 3rd in Complete games and has a 5-2 record. Just look at his games played, watch him pitch, you will see. I don't think he is the best pitcher in the majors, or even in the NL but he will give anyone a run for their money as far as the Cy Young. I have already said I think Kerry Wood is the best pitcher in the NL. Just watch... consistancy is the key.
Ok well see what happens!! I just dont think he is as good as the best pitchers in the NL!!! I mean he is lucky that Schilling & johnson are both hurt!! Those are the best 2 by far along with Brown if healthy!! After that u have guys like Maddux, Glavibe etc.., but they seem to be showin their age at this point!! So now u have these young guys like Wood, Prior, Oswalt etc.. I think all of the above guys I named are better than Schmidt!! But we all have our opinions, lets see where Schmidt finishes in the Cy Young!!! GOT EM!!!
I think Schilling, Glavine, Maddux and Johnson are all nearing their end, only a couple years left for some of them. Look at Johnson and Schilling's performances in the playoffs, look at how they have do thus far... their slowing down. Sure you would think all of the above are better then Schmidt, that's because your biased but the numbers are in my favor so sorry bud.
