I never hear people in the south giving this dude props. I was slappin his CD It's All Bad 2day. If u aint heard it then I suggest that u do. It came out in 2004. I see niggaz giving big ups 2 all of these southern cats but not Lurch. I know he's in a mental intatution but u can't ignore the mans talent. X-Raided been locked up forever but he always comes up in convos when discussing West Coast rap. Lurch should get the same props down south because truth be told he's better then most of the heavy hitters in the south like Jeezy, UGK, TI & Weezy.

Lurch made his name in Norhern Cali. Had he not been incarcerated, maybe he could have made his presence known in the South more. His album was good and even has a cut with Lil Keke.

Yes! BETTER then UGK. Pimp C aint been the same on the mic ever since he's came home. Bun B clearly outshines Pimp C now. Before it was about even IMO. I'd put Lurch album up against Pimps solo & Buns solo. Lurchs album is way better then Pimp C's & I don't wanna hear no shit about Pimp C's album came out when he was locked up cuz so did Lurch's CD. I also think his CD was better then Bun B's. This thread iz kind of like the same thread I made about why the Midwest didn't try 2 blow DMG up. He clearly had super star potentail & could of been a dominate force from a region that STILL hasn't blow up yet.

Yeah that song(Texas Boyz) with Lil Keke is dope! He had talent too bad he fucked up by takin PCP and turnin into a canibal.....:hurt:

I liked 2 songs on that whole CD it really wasnt all that tight to me, i liked the first song with Keke and the song with roger on it.

UGK iz good & always have been good but I feel like Lurch brought a lil more 2 the table lyrically & flowwise. But this aint a Lurch vs. UGK thread. I just wanna know how the south feel about his music.

dont lurch have 2 compilations and a album u know cosmic slop shop deserves props from the south is that the only gorup album they came out with dam that shit is tight
