Does tech do play-back?

I've seen him live before, and never noticed, i knew when he was here in Denmark, he dident have no DJ so he has all the beats just put on.. but i mean, in this video, i think there's alot of playback? you can clearly hear, im not gonna take it away from tech, for being a good performer, cause he's without a doubt the best.. but it kindda makes me wonder how much playback there is.

Everyone does to some extent. Most shows I go to, they always at least use it for the hook, or just keep it pretty low through the song.

Of course there is playback, if he didn't have playback, what would happen if he lost his breath? Would you prefer to go to a mainstream rap concert where they have lip syncing instead of playback?

Playback is more obvious on film or tape then it is if you are in the actual venue.

The challenges of live performance is also different building have different acoustics; and that don't matter what genre of music you perform.

there is less playback than you think, kutt and kriz keep him in check with ques to keep the show on track, most of what you think you hear as playback in the concert videos is the crowd screaming the lyrics.
