I think its a good question.

I also only heard of Locksmith at that same time here on the board.

I guess he on Billboards with a West Coast comp called Non Perishables.

Its good look I guess anybody gettin exposure on the west is important so I support it but it jus seemed like a bunch a backpackin ass new generation rappers ya know it aint really my style.
I give the guy credability because he IS a Lyrical monster and he fuckin with Ski but sumthin about his style jus dont do it 4 me yet..
I havn't heard enough of his actual songs 2 make a judgment on dude, but so far he jus seem like a lyrical rapper...he dont have that West Coast Vibe 2 me that I need 4 me 2 bump my REAL shit.

search his music history balance and turf talk come to my head off top, does it really matter tho?

IT MATTERS TO ME BECAUSE I ASKED THE QUESTION.

@RED DRAGON.....THANKYOU

I ASKED BECAUSE AFTER HEARIN A FEW TRACKS OF HIS I WAS WONDERIN WHO FROM THE BAY WOULD DO A TRACK WITH HIM.....VICE/VERSA.

THAT E-A-SKI PRODUCTION IS REAL NICE THO....BUT AS FAR AS WHAT HE SPITS.....AT FIRST IT SEEMS LIKE DISSIN BUT ITS THAT METAPHORICAL ISH SO A NIGGA GOTTA PLAY IT BACK A FEW TIMES TO REALLY GET IT.

Locksmith was on Turf Talk's "West Coast Vaccine" the track Super Star.

He and Balance have had several tracks together. Sway had him, balance, zion i, f.a.b. and crooked i on a track together.

And of course The Frontline with Left and E-A-Ski production. If you haven't already checked out "Lock and Left" please do so, incredible songs with lyrical content and banging production.

Squarebutt

GTFOH! also, using the word swag = negative props for you and FAIL on the "Trigg" if your trying to spell your user name.
Don't worry about my terminology or how I spell my name junior. Pump yo breaks on that "gtfoh" abbreviation. Let me guess though, your two favorite shows are "Dawsons Creek", and "Mall Rats". All that lil high school girl teen abbreviations....hahaha...square....

Lock is a lyrical murderer, I think he'll fuck with anyone from the bay that is an agressive spitter. He ain't got "swag", but i can live with it. He'll lyrically murder any rapper with "swag" including lil' wayne, remember this line, "If that nigga is the best, then i'm a goblin eater"-Rare Form-Locksmith

It seems like he has his team and that's who he builds with. All I know is he is always involved with a quality product. As far as swag...the lyrics are his swag. Swag is that certin something that makes people want to hear you or see you and his is being a monster on the mic.

in Locks words "check out the message boards... All i hear is retarded shit that starts with imo". However, "imo" he is capable of being the best ever. He just needs to package it correctly.
