I thought my holiday bundle Elite did...but NOPE. I thought everythying after October would be running those, i guess they built those ones BEFORE the new board got put in. Kinda pisses me off, as i figured thats what would be in there. My buddy went and bought an Elite today at Bestbuy...still not a Jasper. I can only assume that the RE 5 bundle will be the FIRST Jasper board machines. Am i wrong?

your wrong. jaspers been in some systems since late 08. its hard to find one with all the holiday shopping and returns. now the arcades and premiums use jasper chipset. i think the red xbox is the first elites with the jasper chipset and its been confirmed. the way to tell is


that little highlighted area is the for sure way to tell if its jasper. the power brick is also suppsoed to be 150w now. at first the jaspers had 175w supply probably due to MS having a big back stock of those power supplies. the red xbox got jasper and 150w power supply.

also peep the date on the right side of the image. 2008-10 so theres been jaspers made since around then

bought a premium holiday bundle bout a week ago... no japser... was fuckin round in the store sortin thru hella boxes tryna find one, till one of the clerks was like what the hell you doin... grabbed one and said fuck it

Yeah i just noticed that the Arcade versions have it. Im gonna buy one of those off eBay for $150, as long they are not refurbished.

YEA I GOT THAT 16.5 IT ALREADY RROD ON ME ALREADY, BUT ITS BEEN GOOD SINCE.BUT IM GONNA HAVE TO JUMP ON THAT RE5 RED ELITE JUST IN CASE IT HAPPENS AGAIN. CANT GO BAD WITH THE RE5 XBOX SINCE IT HAS THE JASPER GUTS...
