I was wondering if any of y'all that bump ECCR shit, listen to shit that has been screwed at all? It's not as big on the west coast, although a version of 17 reasons came out that was screwed, so it made me wonder if y'all listen to that shit. DJ screw shit was tight, cause it was songs you already knew, but slowed down, so it sounded different, and the bass seems like it hits harder cause the song is slowed down, it would be tight as fuck to hear some ECCR shit screwed down..........what y'all think?

@Woodie, it would be a damn good idea for you to release your cd's screwed and chopped, because you already have the supporters out there that would likely buy the cd's, and it's minimal work for you to make more money. I know i'd get some of your cd's if they were screwed and chopped homie, on top of that, it would be a way to expose your music to a different area in the country like texas where they love that shit. Somethin to think about bro

i think he'd be around, just he would've had to put in a lot more work to get to this level, and he may not have ever reached this level. I bump lil keke and shit and he was big on the screw tapes, but i only have 2 songs screwed by him, so who knows you kno?

I have a primo in Tejas that used to shoot some mixtapes my way of Dj Screw. Nothing like those underground ones cause the ones that were available at big chain music stores weren't even on the same level.

Question for those who know, since his passing what has swisha house said, referring to all the dissing they used to do Dj Screw.

yeah that is what I figured would happen, IMO swisha seemed to just pick up any song and slow it down, like they had no criteria for picking a song. but I still listen to their shit.

i made a slowed down mix (i dont call it screwed since dj screw didnt do it) and i put one of woodie's tracks on it (i think it was 'northern california' from demonz n my sleep) and the shit came out tight.

ps- swishahouse sucks. michael watts isnt a dj, he's a computer geek. i got no respect for someone who makes a living imitating another man's style.
