dumb question but ya haha do ya'll think this iz kinda cheating? cuz i noticed theres been A LOT of home runs especially tha other night with 62 home runs in tha majors combined in one night.

Actually that takes pop out of the ball. Since 99 the ball has been flying. Actually before that, but now you got the ball being wound tighter, expansion, and a bunch of roided out players and I think thats what has got the ball flying the last couple of years. As long as people keep paying to see HR's it will remain the same.

Some people would say that the explosion of power in the majors the last few years is because of steriods. I think it's just because people have better workout rutines nowadays and better supliments to enhance their workouts. On top of that the balls are harder and bats are getting better. I also think that pitchers throw the ball harder now and the harder you throw it the harder it goes the opposite direction. But yeah I do see that there are a shit load more homers the last few years than ever before. People want to see homers though, so maybe it's a good thing.

I agree with blu...players today are spoiled as fuck. they got EVERYTHING..personal trainers, hitting trainers, personal doctors, EVERY workout machine made, state of the art workout equipment, top of the line vitamins, more efficient bats...you name it. Thats why I feel players back in the day (Mantle, Dimaggio, Williams, etc) are more credible players than todays players. Dont get me wrong, I love baseball today. But I think players are very spoiled and have to work less than players back in the day.

I do also believe steroids play a major role in the homerun explosion. especially Bonds... Yea, hes a great player, but cmon..that dudes on steroids. look at his fat bloated face! you think that comes from bench pressing? Hes a roid monkey no doubt.
