yeah! Thats why their music sounds shitty & lower quality nowadays. They fuck up so much & even worse its gonna cost them eventually losing their future oppurtunities...... Believe me!

There's nothing productive about being sloppy in the studio, especially if it's off that liquor. Work ethic is one of the things that separate the men from the boys and the proof is in the level of success. 99.9% of people will never reach that upper echelon as long as they treat the studio like a club rather than a place of business.

A real boss doesn't embarass himself and insult the people he's working with by being high & drunk when it's time to make money.

When I watched Kurupt record, he was gettin' swerved, but he composed himself and put a lot into his recording, you could tell he's learned from some of the greats and put time into the game. Then, when I heard he did some more shit, he got sloppy drunk and it wasn't as crackin'. So it's all about the balance.

you come hella hyphy or emotional when u thizz and rap, and hella sloppy when u drunk and rap, i think people rap better when their high, but then they get slumped when it starts to wear off. i think most rappers are blasted when their in the studio tho.

For me, it depends on what I'm trying to do. If i'm trying to do or come up with some choruses or freestyles, you almost gotta be off something. But if you're trying to get a verse down, sober is best. If i just want to write, I might grab some coffee and just relax.

As for most other rappers...yeah, usually off something no matter what.
