other things and people...??

you must not know who and what God is. explain to me your idea of God. You are implying that "other things and people" have a power outside of God. God is and MUST BE the ultimate cause of all things. For, He/She is the beginning and the end.

Why must God be the ultimate cause of all things? What proof do you have that God exists? Why can't things be there just because that's the way nature intended it? If people believe that God created the beginning, then what created God? Why is it hard for people that believe in God to believe that nature, the universe, everything just appeared for no apparent reason, just because it was created, but then it's a given that God was "just there". It's a double standard at it's most extreme measure. How did God become God? I would consider myself an agnostic because up until this date, there is no hard proof whether God exists or not. But I would definitely lean towards an Athiest point of view if someone were to say I had to choose whether I believe in God or not. I just don't see the point in saying there is a God other then the fact of perhaps having a chance to go to Heaven if one exists. And even that point is pretty selfish in itself; to pray in order to get something in return, rather than just living your life as nature intended, to live, not to wait for an afterlife.....
Focus with a blindfold....

this "intention of nature" is equivilent to the idea of God. We are on the same page here.

God is the fundamental reality. God was not created.

You mean complete randomness? randomness is the scientific term for "we're lost at this point and can't give you a better explanation".

God did not become and is not becoming. the key word is "eternal". Eternal means beginingless and endless. God did not move up in rank to become all-powerful.

there is no hard proof whether you exist or not.

lean more toward atheism. But, what drives the atheist is the pursuit against the idea of God. This pursuit is foolish and they believe it is justified by making examples of instances of ignorance from people who claim religion, esp. Christianity. They close there mind to greater truths. I suggest you keep looking for answers rather than concluding you have any idea who and what God is......

God is the uncaused cause of all causes. Since He is eternal, He is uncaused. He has no beginning, therefore He was not created. Since the universe was created, it has a beginning and will have an ending, so it has a cause and that cause is God. Further, all things which happen within the universe are caused by God alone. Even the actions of your body as you read this are not caused by you, they are caused by material nature, which is working under the order of the Supreme Lord.

Bhagavad-Gita Ch. 5 Text 10:

"A person in divine consciousness, although engaged in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, eating, moving about, sleeping, and breathing, always knows within himself that he actually does nothing at all. Because while speaking, evacuating, receiving, opening or closing his eyes, he always knows that only the material senses are engaged with their objects and that he is aloof from them."

So as you are walking down the street, think about the fact that your consciousness is separate from the actions of your body. Your body will work on autopilot because *YOU* are actually not doing anything. *You* are a sub-atomic spark of spiritual energy floating in your body exuding consciousness throughout it. *You* are different from your body, and the actions of your body are being carried out by material nature. The Self is the soul, and the soul is different from the body. So when you refer to your "Self", remember that your "Self" is not your body or your mind, but your soul, and your soul is eternally connected to the Supersoul, God.
