WTF? I answer my phone when someone interesting calls if the caller ID says unidentified yeah right I aint answerin that shit! The same with the door if you didn't call first don't knock! I always have salesmen and jahova witnesses knockin at my door! I don't even answer the door I just turn up the TV or Radio and keep about my business I hate that shit! This is my private haven not a public grocery outlet................
its good for the people that they save because some people need saving, but i just get annoyed because i tell them i am Catholic, my door has a sign that says that this is a Catholic dwelling and to please not solicite yet they still do!!!! and when you answer and tell them you are catholic and you dont want any leaflets they still insist. i hate being rude but sometimes they give you no choice.
For real, I'm not knockin what they do either but thare comes a time when enough is enough why try to force yourself or your beleifs on someone? Like I said before they should only come once then cross that address off the list! I'm not gonna take my album to their house when it is finished and try to convince them to convert to rap OVER & OVER, they would probably get heated! Call the Rollers on me or get a restraining order on me, I guess they think that because they are representing a good cause that it is ok to be pushy but they are only pushing people away from them!

Man, you gotta respect the hustle of a person of any faith who faces the world with a religious agenda knowing FULL WELL that 99% of the populace thinks they are annoying and misguided.
It's a trip because 2 days ago I had some JW's come to my house. I'm a Vaisnava, and I have Deities in my crib. So this lady has her son with her right, he was probably about 4 or 5, and he sees them and asks her who they are and what they mean. This trick had the nerve to say that they were the devil and that I was "lost", right in front of me! I wanted to bang on that bitch somethin terrible but I kept my cool out of respect for the little man, so I asked her to please explain her statement and she gets on some ole "Well I'm not interested in debating you" shit. I mean shit, if you disagree with me that's one thing, but to come out your neck and call me a devil worshipper and then refuse to discuss that shit?! It's like somebody said in this post, tactics like that just push people farther away and end up having the opposite effect than what they desired.
So she just hands me a Watchtower and opens up her bible to some quote about idol worship. So I'm like aiight let's talk about this a little and as I go to get a book of mine to give her a quote, she says she does not want to hear what any other book says. I'm like shit you just come to my house and disrespect me and you expect me to just take your literature with no discussion?! Shit any parrot can just repeat shit a million times, but if you can't use logic to support your position then your words have no value.
I said nahhh lady God does not want blind followers like you. So I was like fuck it, I'll take the Watchtower if you take a Bhagavad-Gita. She said she couldn't accept it, so I said fuck it then keep your Watchtower. I mean I understand the importance of distributing spiritual literature, but those poor Jehovah's Witnesses have absolutely *no* solid philosophy to stand on, and that's why they never want to debate anybody, they just push the Watchtower like crack and stack paper.
It's too bad too, because there is real knowledge to be had out there, but they got them blinders on too tight.

I dont have any respect for someone who comes to my door and tries to convert me. I dont need their fucking religion in my life - Ill do my own thing and believe what I want. I'm never too mean to them but sometimes you have to be firm and tell them to NOT come back.
I remember one time when I was a sophomore in high school, they came to my friends house and he opened the door... said he wasnt interested in their shit.. he tried to close it and they put their foot in the way.
Instead of getting pissed and smashing on the dude, he took the pamphlet out of the guys hand and unzipped his pants right in front of him... pissed on the papers in front of the dudes face. Smiled and calmly tried to hand it back. I was bustin up on the ground... lets just say those witnesses never came back to his house, lol...

@Vyasadeva Funny shit!!!!! But really it is disrespectfull at the same time.....and it's funny that she didn't want to look at anyother book considering Jahova witnesses have trillions of different books besides the bible! My grandma was a JW so don't anybody tell me they didn't.......I think I have about 4 or 5 of her books is my storage still to this day!
@Psilo707 it "IS" very dissrespectful, like I said earlier this is my personal haven NOT a public market...........! I never answer my door, at my old apartment back in 97 I had a note on my door that said: "If you walked up all them stairs walked all the way down that long strip of a hallway and forgot to call first, you better turn around go back down the hallway and back down the 2 story stairway go find a phone and learn how to call first"

I feel you. I aint saying you got to respect the *person* or the religion. I'm just talkin bout the hustle they got. They go out there every day knowing damn well they gon get talked shit to, have doors slammed in they face, etc. I respect the motivation of a person like that who understands the importance of God, but the problem is that JW's operate out of fear of God rather than out of loving devotion to Him.
Personally I don't have a problem with someone coming to my door to holla at me about God. I welcome the opportunity to drop knowledge on anyone. What fucks with me is the militant attitudes some of em got and their refusal to hear any differing viewpoints. I remember this Mormon cat came to my house like 2 years ago, and he was the complete opposite of the JW lady. He came inside and we talked for a good 45 minutes. That fool showed respect and he received respect, and he ended up leaving with a few of my books.
