i download a lot of shit bootleg... but if itz an artist that i really support ill cash out $10-$15 n cop that shit new.. i'll also hit up tha clearance section at rasputinz =P sometimez they got treasure in there for $1.95 or $2.95 lol

I download shit from Dubcnn or Datpiff but I try not to to download albums, I've download a few but if they good I buy them cuz I'm one of those persons who actually likes to have the whole CD and album art and details about it in their hands. Also if it's artists I'm a big fan of, I'll buy any of their albums/mixtapes if I can find them online.

I download but also spend a grip of $ on hard copy CD's, I dont fuck with Itunes cause I'd rather have that CD to hold with allt he artowrk etc etc


I spent like 1000$ a year a few times

I download most albums first...after a few listens, if I feel like its an album I'm gonna want to bump for a while I'll go out and buy it. Sometimes I'll buy an album just cuz I hear a lot of good stuff about the artist on here (bought J Stalin's album cuz of that). I'm much more likely to support a local artist. I'll usually buy about 10 new albums in a year.

depends on the artist local/underground i go out and buy it, i like goin to the record store, but if that dudes on mtv/bet chances are im not feelin em anyway but on the off chance id download the song i like, thats pretty mucha all there is on most mainstream cd's, just one good song

MOSTLY bootleg single songs and albums and if I like the album then I buy it..usually bootleg the albums by big named rappers and support certain local rappers whose music I like..

I DOWNLOAD ALBUMS BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DISAPPOINTED TOO MANY TIMES. IF I LIKE THE ALBUM I'LL BUY IT. IN THE 90'S IT WASN'T LIKE THAT FOR ME. BUT NOWADAYS IT SEEMS LIKE ARTISTS DON'T PUT ENOUGH HEART INTO THEIR ALBUMS. IT'S ALWAYS RUSHED AND NOT PUT TOGETHER RIGHT.

DL a few songs from the album if it's not a solid album or if it's new artist to me. i don't waste money on a shitty cd for one song. if it's somebody i know to be solid, i cop the real cd.

I dont download shit except random singles offa sicctunes...LOL! Mainstream rappers needta get all they shit DLed cuz they breaded and most bay rappers I support got regular 9-5s cuz the rap game is fukked up! I support bay shit! Like most folks on this thread I want tha original artwork and all that shit....guess I'm old fashioned...LOL

same here. I like the whole physical album, album art, etc. If it's an artist that I'm a really big fan of, then I'll buy any album that they come out with, but with others, I'll usually download it (bootleg) and listen to it. If I feel that it's worth my money, then I'll support the artist. If I download it and don't buy it, I'm probably not going to listen to the downloaded version of the album if I felt that it's not worth listening to. It's not worth my time or money.
