THIS is what EBK4 and LBI were supposed to be. The beats are POLISHED and unique...engineering is top notch. The lyrics are some straight hip hop. I think Doc did a good job updating that classic Sac sound that Bo and Lynch helped to create - and made it available for the mainstream.

Even the 50 cent track is tight. It has an old verse from him, before he started singing like the 4 Tops and it's raw. I don't know how he got the money up or the connections after those bullshit Doc Holiday and Bombay albums. Definite comeback of the year, Sac album of the year.

Only complaint is (of course) that song with the Beach Boys, and that heavy metal song. But out of 2 CDs, and only 2 WACK tracks - that's a ratio you can't fuck with.

9/10

thatz ur opinion....Sac album of the year? I dont know about that, but to be honest if it wasnt Doc I wouldnt even bother listening to it more than once...I still like DOC because of SetRip'n...thatz cooh Doc is on some hip hop stuff, but I have to disagree with that Sac album of the year....I like some songs(Reality, real cooh song), but like any other CD some songs I cant get into....Keep doing u though DOC...

the album is pretty good, ill still take ebk4 and lbi over it anyday though, those are stil some underground shit, mr doctor switched up from gangbangiin underground to some mainstream type of shit...cant really stand his songs w e40 or jay z, theyre the epitome of what the mainstream sound is like right now, some hyped up beats that might sound cool in a club but overall listening isnt very good, i like the beach boys song though...ive listened to it about 3 times through and not a lot of songs on there than i could listen to all the way through...6/10....doc holiday was better than this...any truth to the rumor that the original name of the album was "do you smell what doc is cooking?"...lol.

EBK4 was one of Lych's weaker works, but this album does not even show up in the same league as it. There are 2, 3 good songs tops. The only other good part is the interludes talking about how he got with Black Market. The beats are soft, Doc's style is soft and I think this was a half hearted attempt to make a more mainstream album. How can you guys relate EBK4 to this? Every Body Killa is the damb title, this album has a sample with a rock band and a Beach Boy on it.

I'm sorry, but I will knock Setripn' Bloccstyle every day of my life, but if this is where Doc's new music is headed he's done. Either he needs to decide he's going to stay underground and stick with being a street rhyming gangsta rapper or go pop with the rest of the mainstream artists cause this half and half thing didn't work.

Great Review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shows how much you know. you stressed that this album has a sample with a rock group band and a beach boy on it. first off i'm not getting upset about your opinion, thats you. but since i refused paying you for the review 2 weeks ago i now find out this is the type of review i get. thats how business works killas "you gotta buy the reviews". i felt the album is good enough without paying a monkey in a suit to review it, and it still is. you guys want a real review from a real company?????????????????????????????
check out the review VIBE mag did on it. the november issue should be out everywhere. yeah i know all you die hard undergroung cats must hate me saying the forbidden four letter word VIBE but i did so deal wit it. but to make you guys feel better, check out the review in Showcase mag coming out. also the point about the sample you mentioned. the rock song is a group from sac called Die Trying they are signed with Island Def Jam and are disciples of papa roach, why did'nt the review boy know that? this is a live recording we did wit them and it was number 1 on 106.5 for 2 months. not a sample (check B.D.S. and media base) for the proof. also the beach boys song was not a sample but rather another live recording we did with the Beach Boys in Reno. they re-sung good vibrations live so i could get around capital records clearance department and use the song legally. do your homework next time review boy!!!!! man i love being Lorenzo Green Eyes. muthafuccas be jealous of me wishing they could do what i do and have the connections i have.. who else you know that can have the beach boyd re-sing a song that still holds the record to this day of being the highest selling single in history (30 million sold). i guess when you do reviews at 2am you don't have time for homework. get off my dick bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you should use proper terminology when reviewing music and shy away from using the word sample when it really isn't a sample. "thats my review on your review" you should also let someone else in your staff do the reviews cause yours sounds like a guy who is holding on to the past like his life depends on it. you don't have a open mind for new music and you don't expect the artist to mature. people who review can't hold the image of past albums in their head while listening to a new image it won't work. you need to clear your mind and consintrate on what your hearing like your hearing a brand new artist for the first time. in your review your comparing it to other albums of his that are dead. that whole locc to the brain, ebk era has been abandon. he's on a new level now.

ill give you a free review green eyes, and believe you me, im in no way jealous of you.

the album is mediocre at best...the whole album seems to be done for the mainstream, but thats where i think you guys hit gold, as soon as i was halfway through the album, it hit me, "this mofo doc just might blow up"...why do i say that even though i think the album is ho hum?, because if you look at whats playing on the radio and mtv, you will see a lot of similarities with docs album and other mainstream rappers, the songs w e40 and jay z could easily be #1 on radios across the states. why? because its got that feel to it, dont know if my shit makes sense...the song w the beach boys as well, hitting them beach boys fans w something new, maybe theyll start playing this song on some beach bum station...that rock song, shit, that song could be up in TRL next week, no doubt about it...for the mainstream i think the album is outstadning, for real underground fans like myself, i think doc failed miserably, well, maybe not, i dont think he had us underground fans in mind when making this album, its obvious the man is trying to hit it big based on the guest appearances...the whole thing reeks of commercialism...thats just my opinion though...i do wish mr doc good...in my opinion, the man is a legend w setrippn alone, not to mention odysea group album and doc holiday.

ps. i do love that beach boys track though.

i was being sarcastic when i said muthafuccas be jealous of me!!!!!
your review is right on. you should be writing reviews, on everybody's shit. you have what it takes to give a clear minded review.

why do i say that? because, a person that can review a album is simple. but a person that can try to get into the head of a artist and try to figure him out is going a step further and nowadays that's what it takes. you are right when you said Doc made this album for the mainstream not the underground and he did. he wants to break away from that underground tag and spread his wings. Lynch took some cats from the crew and went his way, Doc took some cats from the same crew and went his way. time will tell. good review and hope you do more of those same type of reviews in the future with a clear mind.

Please let me know if this was not supposed to be a rap album then. If that's the case I will gladly shut up and won't say anything else. But to my knowledge the album was targeted for hip-hop/rap/gangsta rap fans correct? If not please let me know.

When I said sample I thought you sampled the background music and vocals. Nobody has done what you did before so I had no way of knowing without asking you first. And don't think that just being you didn't send me the album was the reason I gave it a 2/5. The reason I gave it a 2/5 was because I didn't like it. People have sent me material that I have given 1/5 before, I have yet to get a single dollar from my reviews where are places like VIBE get some cash for reviews, am I wrong? Please tell me if I'm wrong because I think I'm right.

Here's why the album wasn't good to me:
1) The beats were weak. I think it's pretty hard to go through a 36 track album and not bob your head once.

2) The features were weak besides E-40 and Foe Loco. I don't think 50 Cent was even on the song he was advertised for.

3) Doc's style is not what it used to be, he talked about some soft shit for most of the album and not what he used to talk about, but again if this is not intended for hardcore gangsta rap fans please let me know because it doesn't seem like it.

I'm not being disrespectful to you at all or Doc in saying this I am just stating my point, the point about 100 other people on the Siccness have already stated. I understand your upset that I gave it a bad rating, but why would I lie about it? What's the incentive? I went and spent my $14 on the album, so I think I have the right to say what I think about it.
