DJ Shadow's new CD...on fuckin with hyphy cats...etc

New CD Supposedly features alot of "hyphy" style shit.

The article in the Guardian or the SF weekly was a trip about how his fans turned on him.

One of the motherfuckers at one time thought the best DJ in the world gets hated on by hella folks for fuckin with E40 and them.

But what is a trip is the fact that the only worldwide tour many of the new hyphy artists have been on (Mistah FAB, Turf Talk, Nump) was when they wont on tour with Shadow promoting his new shit.

Anyone a fan of his old shit? And what y'all think about this?

I personally think this Endtroducing... will go down in history as certified, bona fide straight classic. Hopefully his new shit is just as hard. But I gotta cop the album first.

its alright..

mostly collabs w people .. david banner.. nump.. 40.. and the federation/animaniaks track [and of course 3 freaks]

Ain't nothin more funny then slammin some DJ Shadow in your ride with hella beat...

Do a search playa... this been chopped up a while back on here, FAB wasn't in it but Turf and Nump did a show in Spain with Shadow, most of the shows like the one in my town and all the UK shows plus the one in Amsterdam got shut down though because Keak couldn't travel due to past convictions.

Damn shame, outta nowhere I had a Hyphy Movement show in my back yard and I made myself the self appointed spokesman for that shit over here cos its all full of don't knows, but then that got shut down. Took the opportunity to shoot some mixtapes and tracks at people to let them learn about it.

Y'all better believe his support turned on him for this shit, kinda sorry really, heard so much hate about where he went with it, Hyphy this hyphy that, I'm not gonna cop the album if its full of this 'crunk', yadda yadda. I never really liked Shadow's music but gotta respect him saying too bad this the music I love.

I've always said....Endtroducing is a MUST HAVE for any fan of rap/hip-hop...

I peeped the new album. There's some cool stuff on there and all he is tryin to do is expand. Everyone knows he's a genious on the production. I would give it a 6/10
