One of the hottest producers in the south. He's got his own radio station in south Florida...

pretty much the reason why Florida became nationally recognized for hip hop and was so hot for the 2 years he had everybody featured on his beats.

florida became hot when jay-z signed rick ross to def jam. ricky dropped hustlin produced by the runners and it was on......and when Plies dropped Shawty feat T-Pain. That song not only took plies and t-pain nationwide, but was also drumma boi's first smash hit....beat was co-produced by n-sane......

before that trick daddy was the only thing poppin down there..

Personally I thought his last album was WAY better...
Tracks 2, 3, 4 and 5 are really strong then the rest became blah crap...

2 Live Crew being in the game since 1986 & being surrounded in controversy didn't put Miami on the map? lol......So no Trick Daddy wasn't the ONLY thing poppin down there. 2 Live was doing this way before any of them.

MIAMI BASS MUSIC WAS POPPING FROM 1987-1999

It dont matter how long ago it was U said florida wasnt poppin since trick daddy we had to correct you. And also LUKE RECORDS, PANDISC RECORDS, JOEY BOY RECORDS, NEWTOWN MUSIC GROUP LABEL WAS THE BIGGEST FLORIDA LABELS WAY BEFORE SLIP N SLIDE & DEF JAM SOUTH.

florida wasnt poppin since trick daddy......after they re-launched def jam south with mannie fresh in 2005 and signed young jeezy and eventually USDA, Ludacris (even though they are from the A), and reached a disctribution deal with slip n slide which had plies, trick daddy, ace hood, rick ross, t-pain, brisco......thats when Florida became huge again......before any of those artists the only one gettin nationwide play was trick daddy.......

this is a useless arguement for gambitowens as usual, continue with the thread.....

First off Florida music been poppin on a national level way before and after Trick Daddy. Not tryin to argue but we have had many artists and groups nationwide and yes Khaled is annoying but he has opened doors. Also Jay Z didnt do anything with Def Jam South, that was Scarface do a lil homework first.
