What do you mean?
On directv all the major networks have their own channels for east/west/mountain/central
And do to federal regs you are only supposed to get the feed from your local stations.
Now are you talking about Directv DVR?
If this is what you are talking about and the show you want is recording on the wrong timezone, that menas you set the season pass up on the wrong channel.
For example my local stations are 4 (cbs), 7(abc) & 9(nbc)
but if you go up to channels 350+ for example I could find cbse cbsw, abce abcw, nbce nbw, etc....
If you set up the season pass on say abc east that is what is going to record, but since you cannot have access to that it will record black screen. You need to go back and set up season pass o the right local channel.
