alright...i'm looking at geting a Digi 002
it says it's a Fire Wire Based...so does that mean it's different then the TDM Based which needs SCSI?
So since it's Fire Wire Based will i only need a Fire Wire Drive?
also...because it is fire wire based, it doesn't have a PCI card...so does that mean my current sound card will run the system? because i only have a 16 bit sound card?

let me know

thanks

The FireWire is your soundcard, I just saw that one in the DigiNews (E)Mailer. I just recently Copped a MOTU 828, and that acts as your soundcard. Try lookin' into gettin' Firewire on your comp(if you don't already have one. All Apple computers come with them now.

One more remark(Firewire is tha Shit, USB sucks Dick)

You shouldn't need a an SCSI,unless yer tryin' to hook other equipment up. The digi-002 doesn't have one though.Everything you need to record and mix audio/MIDI is right in that interface
