Madden has all right to the NFL and what that mean to fans of 2K sports is the next game with not have current nfl player. EA is gay for taking out there compediter with rights instead of better game play. Cuz 2k was getting damn close to making a better football game some would say they did make a better game. i dont see anybody complaining about 2k having the MLB license. everybody wants to make EA the big bad monopoly when any other company would of done the same thing if they had the resources. its called business,nothing we can do about it.

Yea 2k has the rights to MLB but other game developers can make baseball games useing current players. And if you got some new shit why not post it up. Shit cuz i just got my magazine in the mail yesterday cant be that old news. Just trying to add some interesting shit for people to read. Plus i've alway like madden better but two competeing developers keep each other on there toes so we get a better game. Not just one choice. And EA is one of my favorite game developers and I dont care how big or small they are as long as the games the are makeing are worth my buck.
based on what i saw in that magazine that 2k8 game looks horrible...dont mean graphics-wise cause i know its early in production but stadiums with big ass rhinos in the stands and ones that are shaped like aircraft carriers???? what kind of shit is that? thats some a nfl blitz looking shit.

Well i guess with the lost of real NFL teams and players this is what they came up with to sell the game dont think its going to work. I mean 2k was a real football game now its been turn into a blitz type game. Thats why i started the post do you think it right to get rid of the compition and only have one nfl game to pick from. Even if all you ever buy is madden should madden be the only NFL game made?

This is how the NFL operates. Everytihng they do is exclusive.
Video games - EA since they ponied up the dough
TV - they have the AFC on CBS I beleive, NFC on Fox, Sunday Night on NBC, Monday night on ESPn and I forget who has the Super bowl. Alos DirecTV has EXCLUSIVE rights to Sunday ticket. Cant buy it on cable.
Alot of people hate on EA, but if you understand what they gained off somethign the NFL was going to do ANYWAY, then you cant fault them. Everything is about money. They probably make more money from exclusive deals than they make from it being wide open. Of course whomever wants the right is going to pay out the ass for them.
Personally I thoguht NFL 2k5 was garbage, so I wasnt sad to see it go from a gameplay stand point. I aint missing out. However, it lets EA become lazy. Madden on Xbox 360 hasnt been right in two years and it sucks because they have no incentive to fix it. In 06, you couldnt even challenge plays. You STILL cant edit players to your liking as far as gear, position and attributes go. Then they split the features between consoles. Okay, PS2 and xbo will have this, 360 will have that. If they dont release 08 on Xbox or PS2, I will just continue to play 07 on my Xbox until they fix the next gen versions
