I really would like 2 hear niggaz opinion on thiz. He had a tremendous amount of hype when he came in being called the "West Coast Saviour" & the person who's suppose 2 "Bring The West Back" & all the shit but he seemz 2 not be respected by most of hiz peers, he's been exposed az being probably the fakest gangsta rapper in Cali & hiz latest project iz considered a flop. Hiz only album on Aftermath waz solid but without Dre hiz music seemz 2 made a U-turn. Even a lot of hiz previous fanz seem 2 have stopped fuckin with hiz music.

I mean haz he helped the West or have we just went backwardz cuz I don't see much difference in the State of West Coast hip hop then it haz been in the last few yearz.

On thangs, he helped himself and thats really what artists be doin these days, mufuckas dont got charisma like Pac or B.I.G and that could put a whole coast on they shoulders and make mufuckas feel what they sayin...In the end he tryin to sell records n make money.....His last album wasnt that bad, i still bump some of it, but really, he broke himself down like a shotgun with all the beef n butterfly shit. But i do know this, he might be the fakest gangsta, but to me he just bi-polar, thats why i think he be flip flopin all the time. But then again, how many rappers aint bi-polar or have split personalities? mufuckas aint really out here killin niggas and slangin......they just out to put up a good front, maybe make beef so they get a buzz and make money.....so they really all characters anyway.....but thats just my opinion.............

He might have people checkin on LA but not the west. The West coast iz bigger then just Cali & Cali iz bigger then just LA. I mean he had nothin 2 do with the Hyphy explosion, Bo sighning with Ca$hvile & so on. These thingz would of happened without Game.

He brought a lot of attention this way but if no one else really steps up besides E-40 and a little push from them boys on the thizz camp, the west is gonna start losing momentum. The west need sum more front runners to step up and take the shit over not just sum shit for the club but sum real emcees gotta push his shit.

My opinion on Game has changed completely all the way around after bumping the doctors advocate. Much respect to game. Shit, at least his shit is soundin west coast, compared to the others holdin it down for the west such as e-40, snoop, ice cube, etc...

Exactly, that's what matters most to me. Like you said, atleast his $hit "sounds" Westcoast and his latest album The Doctor's Advocate was a big indicator of that. I think his latest album has some of the best beat selections in all of mainstream rap right now. I can truely careless about the name dropping and all that $hit because the beats themselves compensate, the beats set the vibe nicely regardless if the lyrics are a bit repetative. The dude seems to have good taste in music, I give him props for that. As compared to those you mentioned, they all completely changed their styles for the worse IMHO. :ermm: For example, take Tha Blue Carpet Treatment, WTF is shit like "Candy," those kinds of tracks are absolutely trash and catz these days be doing a lot of silly shit like that, WACK! Now if Snoop made more tracks with a vibe like "Round Here," now that would be some dope shit, that's my favorite track of the album and "Imagine."

The problem with game is, he seems like the westcoast clone, he doesn't seem real...It seems like they just picked him, told him put on some khakis and chucks, talk about lowriders, switches, and N.W.A. he don't talk about shit,if you really that westcoast why do you always, have to talk about the most obvious things about the westcoast, the nigga honestly seems like he goes overboard trying to be to westcoast...I'm from the west born and raised but he talks about the same shit on damn near every record he puts out..his album was decent but I don't listen to the shit that much cause he bores me, he has a eastcoast style but is supposed to be so westcoast...so no he didn't bring the westcoast back, he brought himself back! He's a fake representation of the westcoast...It just seems like somebody is pulling his strings all his subjects are the same, he's stuck in a box! WEST UP!

Snoop waz running hiz mouth after The Documentery dropped hollering that "Game single handedly brought the West back on hiz own". That quote should of made the Negro Please section in XXL. Its not like one man can carry a whole coast on his back and determine the fate of a whole region. Even back in The Death Row days, you had Snoop, Dre, and Pac...

The problem is that one artist and one album isn't enough to do much of anything besides help the artist, and maybe bring some extra attention looking in this direction. Did he succeed in doing that...? Yes.

That's a great point. I don't fuck with music that's regionally out of character, period. Ice Cube having Lil Jon produce some tracks on his album, I can't fuck with that. Up north stuff sounding crunk or down South stuff sounding East Coast, I can't fuck with that.

I think Game's last album was awesome, California Vacation is the new West Coast anthem.

ON the really though I'm down here in ATL and the truth is i don't hear game. He gets hardly any radio play out here. The nigga they bumpin the most is e-40. I'm not tryna say 40 bringin the west back but bottom line is the whole west coast has a long ways before we claim to be anywhere near back.
