@Gas One... cmon now folks this ain't Columbo, you're reading way too much into those tracks, Jeru is from a time when there was dope rappers out on the East, I actually used to listen to NY ish back then, Jeru has one of the nicest flows there is, and as far as I can tell from his touring, hella humble too. No reason for anyone to lay hands on him.
And on that Tricky thing... that dude is from my town, but I ain't never heard no story about him or anyone down with him getting into it with Jeru. What's your source? Dude is from a tough neighborhood, about a mile from my spot, but neither he or the people he rolls with are like that, I only remember them saying it was the labels that pulled Jeru out of it and them folks is still cool.

i dont need to tell you shit to validate anything. and my source is a tricky interview with a free magazine about 6 years ago. as far as the jeru thing goes, you dont know him, his intent musically, nor things he's said about other people/groups of people based on his narrow perspective..based on a tour none the less..
and i dont see a reason why i should break down who i know and why i know things.
and the fact that you listened to jeru dosent mean nothin homie, i have come clean/dirty rotten scoundrel 12" on wax, sun rises in the east on wax, wrath of the math on cassette and heroz for hire on cd...its not like im hating, thats just what it is..
oh and heres lyrics:
"I snatch fake gangsta MC's and make em faggot flambe
Your nine spray my mind spray
Malignant mist steadily pumps the funk
The results you're a gang stuffed in a car trunk
You couldn't come to the jungles of the East poppin that game
You won't survive get live catchin wreck is our thing
I don't gang bang or shoot out bang bang
The relentless lyrics the only dope I slang"
1) gangs werent in nyc at the time, much less gangsta mcs.
2) there are no low riders in new york. (see video)
3) "you couldnt come to the jungles of the east" who do you think he was talking to? the south wasnt on yet, nor was the midwest.
next you gonna tell me blahzay blahzay wasnt trying to diss the west..
PS: jeru isnt even top 200 in new york
